Richard Whitby

During a long career in financial services Richard achieved success as as a fraud investigator and insider dealing investigator with the London Stock Exchange.

He moved into resilience planning in 1999 as head of the consultancy division at an international disaster recovery company and joined Crisis Solutions in 2003. Richard has more than 20 years experience of delivering and managing risk and resilience solutions to a variety of global brands.

He has been directly involved in the simulation of a Euro crisis for a global financial services provider; practical resilience planning in the oil fields of Kazakhstan and training and exercising for major supermarkets, car manufacturers, global banks and others. Richard has facilitated more than 800 exercises and training events including cyber threats; terrorism scenarios; pandemic and supply chain issues.
